No, she's getting a scanner and a digital picture frame to convert all her paper photos. That should take quite a while and give me plenty of garage time. Although I did get her a vacuum for her birthday one time.......

Lacking instructions from Browning, there are complete instructions (with pictures) on another site to show how to dis-assemble, clean, and re-assemble your new present. You can also get instructions on a great trigger and sear job you can do yourself.
Buck Mark pistols are a great gift for any occasion and from the wife is even better.

Yeah, the manual says not to disassemble, but then they give you a wrench meant for use to disassemble

    Great gift.

Congrats!!! I used to have one, it was a blast to shoot. Only thing I ever did to it was, put Hi-Viz sights on it. Man...I miss that one...

Good thing I didn't read the instructions because I took it completly apart last night using their included allen wrench.
I was going to get a Ruger 22/45 but they were heralded as being difficult to disassemble, I wasn't too keen on the plastic grip, and also the barrel is the serialized part on the gun. That plays into future plans, after the new year I'm going to send the barrel out and have it threaded for a suppressor and it doesn't have to go FFL.
Is sunday here yet? I want to shoot this thing.

Have you checked out Tactical Solutions? You might be better off buying one of their barrels already threaded, that way your original barrel would remain stock. Dang--their barrels have gone up in price.

Meh, too much is made about how difficult it is to reassemble Ruger's. There's a couple of tricks that once you learn, make it very easy. But I like them both.. Rugers and Buckmarks that is.

Here's my set, although I did buy the Buckmark for my Sweetie.
