    Nice that it comes with hard doors. The soft doors ain't worth a shit. Of course I'm sure most of the time you'll have them off anyway. I have a serious love/hate relationship with M998s. Does that one have the 6.2 or 6.5?

    That one looks good! I went through AM Generals HMMWV driving course a while back and have really been wanting one for myself ever since.

    Are you saying replace a torque making diesel designed for a 6000 lb vehicle with a gasoline engine designed for a 3500 lb vehicle?

    Not smart in my opinion

    Nobody buys a military vehicle for fuel economy to start with..or I didnt.

    But if you buy an $8000 6.2 liter LS crate motor and spend $5000 more on labor and things like changing over 24V to 12v plus all the little things in a swap that eat your lunch..

    Well I can buy a hell of a lot of diesel for $13,000

    But regardles, I don't want to molest the Humvee. I want to keep it as authentic as I can.

    I'm jealous. Are they all emp protected? I would think so.
