Hi All-
As I've posted in another thread, I've just purchased my first handgun. Given the fact that I haven't shot a pistol in about 15 years, I will need A LOT of practice. There is a dealer by me that has Israeli Industries military surplus ammo for a relatively cheap price. It is brass and he has both .45 ACP and 9MM. I would think that this would be fine for gaining experience and target shooting - I'm not looking for competition grade ammo....just something that will get be back in the swing of things and build up my skills. Does anyone see any issues with using this ammo?
Thanks!
I would never buy any Isralie surplus ammo.
If it was any good the Isralies would not sell it.
There is too big a chance that it has been improperly stored at extreme desert heat conditions.
Isralie surplus ammo has a reputation for exploding in rifles, I would not want it near my handgun either.
