With the economic downturn and many struggling to survive the national recession, there is at least one bright spot in Corpus Christi - it comes in the form of good paying jobs.
Turner Industry Group LLC, a business that serves many of the refineries, opened their doors Wednesday and they're hiring

That's great news for that area. My buddies & I were talking to the lady that rents us her land for our annual Beeville dove hunt, about the local economy. She painted a pretty grim picture as far as jobs went.
