this is how i have mine set up, but now i have a Red Dot on it and a rifled barrel. Flashlight has a pressure pad on front grip now also.

yea, thats what I have been doing. I just thought it was retarded to put it there in the first place

With a standard butstock the safety is in the best place and the slide release is no problem. With that pistolgrip stock i can see where both would be a pain to work.

I turned my Mav 88 into one like that with an ATI stock. At 19 " with Tru Glo turkey sites on it, the rib vent looks cool and the safety is in the right spot.
