Although we are only in the third month of the year, I would like to present my nomination for Mother of the Year for this nice adoptive mother who abused her 7 children and used torture techniques to force them to act in her YouTube videos which attracted more than a million followers.

A public flogging would be insufficient for this piece of work.

I keep seeing more and more of these types of stories. Has our world gone crazy? What's going on?

How can people intentionally hurt a child? My mind cannot comprehend it.

This woman has deep seated problems, for sure.
I believe social media was also to blame. No one wants to be "just themselves" anymore, they want the support of people they don't even know.
I also understand U Tube and some other media sites will pay you money if your post receives enough viewings.
I just hope she gets what she deserves from our limp wristed court system. Later on we will probably have to deal with how her actions affected her kids.
