A friend of mine has a 98 Goldwing and needs a fuel pump for it and has tried
everywhere that he knows of and can't find one.
The shops he has tried says they arn't making replacements for that old of bike.
Anyone here know where he might find one.

Dennis Kirk. I use to use them a lot years ago for motorcycle and ATV parts. They show to have them.

I had an early VTX 1800. Totally different bike, I know, but found that the fuel pump for it was in a surge tank low and to the rear of the motor. It looked kinda like a beer keg ... found it by tracing the fuel lines. It came out the bottom.

It was held together with security style torx screws (standard torx with a pin in the center). I took the tank apart and found the fuel pump which had a part number on it. Cross referenced the number and it turns out it was a Honda Civic pump. Was a direct bolt in.

Honda wanted $500 for the replacement surge tank/pump/filter unit. O'Reilly's sold me a pump for $16.

It wouldn't surprise me to find out that the Goldwing pump is a generic Honda part.
