As seen elsewhere on TGT, I'm back on the street / road bike scene after a decades long (more than 2 :( ) hiatus and need help from you old hands.

My 1st issue, I need to maneuver an @700lb bike in tight quarters on a concrete slab.

I think this is what I want:

    maxresdefault.jpg

But the ads I've seen say they are asking +$200 for it; I AIN'T gonna pay it!

Harbor Frieght has this for $99:

But I've seen it used and it's too cumbersome & bulky.

Does anyone know where I can get the center stand dolly for <$99?

Well FRACK! Registered the bike, came out and it wouldn't start
Turned over some then the battery gave out. Was gonna ride to work tomorrow, new plan . . . wait a while.

PS, the ladies that have worked this tax office as long as I can remember commented they didn't know BMW made bikes, had to look out the window. Maybe mine is the 1st in the county. ;)

    Coiled,

Can we M/C-powered REVERSE TRIKE & CYCLE CAR folks play too??
(I cannot balance a 2-wheeler, so I'm about to "build" or more accurately "assemble" a BMW-powered trike.)

    yours, satx

    Coiled,

Right Now, I have NO Reverse Trike, as I'm in the "gathering stuff up" stage.
(For example, I've located a LOW MILEAGE & TOTALED 1000cc shaft-drive BMW M/C that runs beautifully for the power, a pair of super M/C wheels for up front & some other "stuff".)

Presuming that I can get all the required pieces, the finished Trike will look quite like a 3/4 size, front half of a 1930s MORGAN sports roadster & the rear will look like what it IS: A shaft-drive BMW M/C, with a foot-wide 20" M/C wheel.
The completed Trike (or Cycle-car, if you prefer) should "go like stink", either on/off road.
Note: Pre-WWII Morgan 3-wheelers used to win a lot of hill-climb races in the UK & with about HALF the HP. With the Trike "shedding about 200#", should tell you that it will be FAST.

    yours, satx
