I bought my bike on 5/13/20 with 19,226 miles and parked it this evening with 37,228 miles.

The 4th front tire is on it and the 5th rear began duty on Thursday, 5/13/20.

EDIT: 5th rear tire went to work on 5/13/21.

Somewhere in a thread we got to talking about tire changers. At those kind of miles a No-Mar is a good investment. I have a Coats 220 (no longer available) that paid for itself a long time ago. Tires delivered right to the house. Internet ordering of tires can be significantly less expensive than a dealer, and no trip required. Depending on the bike, I can mount and balance a set within 45-60 minutes.

Cycle Shack Conroe has tripled their prices for a tire mount/balance yet claim they are still the lowest around, WTH?
14 months ago when I started riding again their showroom was jam packed with toys and so was the front lot, no doubt they moved 'em to the service area at night. Yesterday the bikes were spaced several feet apart and there was still tons of room. I'd guess <20% of last years stock.

It was a cordial exchange but I asked the service tech if he wanted stay with that price because if so, it may well be the last $$s of mine they see and of course he had no say in the matter. The tire I bought there was $10 more than Revzilla.

Notice the ~400 decline in Doc Numbers from May to July vs March to May. I don't know if that's just the service dept. or store wide but it seems telling to me.

Clearly it's time for me to get the tools to mount/balance my own tires.

Anyone know a good & fair priced suspension mechanic/tech? Preferably within 100mi of Huntsville. I suspect an issue with my '09 BMW K13GT.

Been riding a Harley since the mid 60's. Bought my now Harley on 09/1998, with 32 miles on it. Now 115,000. Would be more but I've been traveling a lot in the last 9 years and haven't had it out of the garage but a few times in the past 3 years. As soon as it cools off some, I'll be riding more often.

Yea but, how many replacement motors?

Seriously, that's impressive; any major repairs?
No major issues. I service it regularly, Tires, brakes, battery, oil and filter as needed, Everything on my bike is original as in no motor, transmission, etc, etc replaced or rebuilt.

I don't abuse my bike. I bought it to ride not show off doing stupid stuff. take care of your bike and it will take care of you.

I need a new motorcycle cover that won't break the bank. Current one was @$40 and lasted 2yrs with direct morning sun so I'm not disappointed with that.

I've read good things about Nelson-Rigg & Dowco. Any suggestions?

5/13/2022 update would have been 54,334 miles.
    Today she's at 56,335.
I log the mileage after each ride, partly out of curiosity and partly for maintenance purposes. Today I noticed the odo was dead nuts on 58K before leaving Twin Peaks in Bryan. It's only 79 miles home so apparently I made a few wrong turns :what: and parked at 58,130 miles today.

You didn't make any wrong turns. You just went to places you never been to before.

I have a little over 300,000 on this setup.
Not all on the same bike. The one in the picture is an exact copy of the one that was in my garage when the house burned in 2011.
