What's Europe got that the USA doesn't?

Plenty of riding I have yet to do here in the states. I.e. Colorado, Utah, Montana... I'd like to ride Baja... but i'm not stepping foot in Mexico.

One of the enduro riders told me about a trip him and his son took. They started in NM and rode all the way to the Canadian border on their dirt bikes. They mapped out gas and lodging. Said they only hit a few paved roads for food and lodging. I think it was a month adventure. I'd love to one day do that with my boys.

I'd like to ride Europe because My favorites are from there. Taddy Blazusiak and Graham Jarvis. I'd like to try Erzberg one time to see how far I could get. (probably wouldn't make it out of the iron giant)

I'd like to take this adventure.

My fourth bike, which was the first street legal one was an XL250 in about 1977, then I got a Suzuki DR400 shortly after.

ETA: I had to wait until I turned 18 to get my MC endorsement because my parents didn't want me to ride on the street.
They never knew I had the bikes. I kept them at friends houses.

Seeing that made me realize I was wrong about how soon I owned a street bike. I hand a Honda CB750 Four cylinder for a short time in the 80’s but I only kept it a few months. Most of our roads weren’t paved and that big heavy bike couldn’t turn on gravel as well as my lighter motocross and enduros could. It also looked stupid with big knobby tires on it.

Keep in mind I only had a street bike, but in 2012 I decided to travel across the U.S. and see as many states as I could with the money I had (several thousands). Now I only made it through 22 states, and although I took my time, I know I had only seen small parts of those states (mountains, deserts & forests). The wonders I saw were breathtaking, and if I had the resources I would have continued more than the 2 1/2 months that I did.

It just blows my mind when I hear people talk about wanting to ride Europe and spend that much more, when the U.S.A. has so much to see. I'm not talking big cities, mostly I avoided them and took many lesser highways. Being that I was on my Harley, there were many roads I had thought about going down, but figured it would be too much for that type of bike.

I'm not saying that Europe wouldn't be fun, but I had the time of my life right here, and here can be expensive enough. I can't imagine that cost of going over seas. I've only scratched the surface of what this country has to offer.
