My Refeild 2-7x33 didn't come with a bikini or scope covers, so I decided I was going to buy them. I went to Academy, they have Butler creek scope covers. I thought they'd have a chart. I was wrong. They said if they had the scope in stock, they help me out, but the 2-7 wasn't in stock.

Anyway, this is my first venture buying scope covers. I looked on Refield's website.

According to thier website Redfield Revolution Specifications Both the front and back of the scope is 1.6."

Butler's website has a chart for the eye.
    Cover number inches mm's
    13 1.570 39.9
    14 1.605 40.8

    and objective
    15 1.558 39.3
    17 1.612 40.9

Their website says I should take the smaller one if it falls between two.
I guess it kind of bothers me that Refield only has two significant figures on their website. Any advice? Am I making this too complicated?

Just bring the scope into the store.

If the smaller size is too tight, the cover won't stay closed. Get the bigger size and wrap the scope with a couple layers of electrical tape to get the cover snug.
