For quite a while now I've been considering the strong possibility that POTUS isn't "wrapped all that tight" and that most, if not all of his decisions are based on that.
Folks talk about impeachment, but I've considered it more realistic that he be removed as being unfit for office. Amendment XXV of the Constitution allows his removal as "unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office" by declaration of the Vice President and a majority of the "principal officers of the executive departments.
Unfortunately, I'm not gonna hold my breath waiting on those clowns...

It would never work. You'd have to get a large number of Democrats to admit their poster boy is a few Hobbits short of a Fellowship. Easier to hammer his "high crimes and misdemeanors" until they grow a clue and admit he's a screwup.

Of course, by the time that happens, he'll be out of office.

Tens of millions. As in (according to quite a few current polls and his approval rating) a majority of the voting public. Pity more didn't notice before they re-elected the clown.

Not that things aren't bad enough, but from personal experience with people that do have psychiatric problems, I've seen that when they are put under stress or suffer disapproval, they have a tendency to get worse.
