Me and the wife go christmas shopping today, and pick up a Daisy Ryder BB Gun for Justin. This puppy holds 400 .177 cal bb's, shoots 350fps, and......AND has TruGlo sights!!!!! Did you hear that???? TruGlo sights!!!!!!! I gotta get this thing out from under the bed, and go play in the backyard. I also picked up some safety glasses and a bottle of bb's. I'm gonna make him unwrap the glasses first, than the bb's, and than the rifle AFTER he unwraps all the other socks and crap...hehehe

"You're gonna put your eye out, kid." ;)

For Christmas about 10 years ago, when my son was 5 or 6, Santa brought him a Red Ryder. So, we go out in the backyard Christmas morning to shoot at a paper target, with the cedar fence serving as a backstop. He takes his first shot, and the BB ricochets off the wood fence, comes back and nails me in the leg. "Um, okay, let's make a BB trap out of a cardboard box before we shoot anymore."

That is going to be a Christmas morning to remember for both of you. I did not get my first bb gun for Christmas, but I remember it still to this day!!! A red ryder as well.

Cardboard box with piece of foam or old telephone book inside, great BB
saver. I like too think of it as the perfect hillbilly BB trap.;)
