    they have been waiting 6 months now for thier CHL to arrive ... any body else out there having to wait THAT long? I guess I am in the same boat then ... I just took my class Tues. Don't know if I should laugh or cry :( :confused: :banghead: :eek:

    DPS is required by law to, within 90 days, issue your license, deny,or tell you they need more time.

    If ya'll are in Houston the delay is bacause of Ike. The Trooper assigend CHL backgrounds was, like all other Troopers, placed on disaster duty for a while.

    If you get to around the 90 day mark give em a call.
