Most of us remember our first middle school crush.

My dad bought a Browning SA-22 at a little gun shop in Fredericksburg when I was a kid.
He let me shoot it with him when I was maybe 8.
He let me walk the ranch roads alone with it when I was about 12. Many a rabbit succumbed to it.

    $599 at Bass Pro.

I still have it in the original box.
Innumerable bricks of ammo have passed through it.

    That's my best answer.

He said this could be fun or suck. So I was going to say Hi Point but someone beat me to it.

So, for an actual useful weapon, I’ll say Mossberg 590A1, 20” barrel with ghost ring sights.

As an aside, I’ve been thinking about getting my FFL and been thinking about would I buy with my dealer discount. When I do, I may propose a query much like yours. Thank you for for the idea.

Wonderful guns though I have a 590a1 now. Ex deputy gun with just the bead sight. I had one with the ghost ring and I didn’t like it. I love ghost rings on pistols just not on a shotgun. The bead sight is a bit faster and basic.

Well...Not a horrible pick. I wanna try and look for an actual marlin. Used to have a few one break open and one Henry. The Henry was a lemon. Was thinking of another 45-70 anyway.

Had one. Underrated. Very accurate. May I dare say the most accurate I had shot in single action. Double action is horrible compared to the 75. I payed 450 new for mine and traded it to get my mini14.
