I'm not sure what even to say. Solution looking for a problem? Ill-conceived use of a $200 tax stamp? Hard earned money that should have been used on training? Meh, to each their own.

Am I the only one who saw this thread and thought "yeah, it looks cool, but does it actually serve a purpose?"

Maybe it's just me, but I see absolutely no point in doing something like this. If you're gonna make an SBR, at least use a relatively long barrel (i.e 8 inch or longer), and don't **** up a perfectly good pistol - use a rifle as the base platform.

If the guy has the money to do something like this, then why not? That is the question. If he was breaking his budget and sacrificing other, more necessary projects, then yea, maybe not such a smart move, but seems like he is doing ok for himself and can afford to do it. Good job, looks cool

Hell, I've gotten a pretty good affection for the fun but impractical.

I got a chance to fire a RONI/Glock setup and wasn't impressed enough to take the plunge of SBRing my Glock plus it malfunctioned a few times. Cool toy though
