I am a Hog Hunter, Not as much as I use too! To busy working. The up close shot is from my back deck, I was about foot and a half from the pig. His name was Fat Albert like I said was! He is now sausage. I raised him from a baby he was just like a dog chased cars grunted instead of barked. He would fetch as long as you was throwing food and he drank beer! But he got to tearing up the neigbors so he had to go.
I still trap hogs for folks around here but I find people who want the meat and give it to them.

I don't know if he shot it, it was alive in the photo. I think you misinterpreted the hogs eye boogers for a bullet hole.

drj, are you a hog hunter or are these just pics from a game camera set up for deer?

Actually, I was making a pun, referring to the "head shot" made with camera as though it were with a gun. :D

    Good shooting and be safe.

    Kingwylie,
No problem. My sense of humor is sometimes a little weird.

    Good shooting and be safe.

Have one tied up onyour front rack of your ATV riding across the pasture when all of a sudden you hit a hole and bounce the hog up in the air and right on your lap! But then he or she gets untied and then things get really going! Have had that happen more than once, so know I tie themup and tie them to the rack. Oh by the way these where live pig that had been caught by dogs or in a trap.

I run into 300+ pounders quite a bit at my parents place. When it comes to eating I prefer small ones.
