My 43 years of marriage (to same wife) tells me if you hadn't used that phrase...."Gonna Make My Wife Post Them" they would have showed up sooner.
High Cap 1911 once told me that my ideas are great but my delivery was all wrong. I didn't quote because i just got the gist of it and don't remember the actual words used.

Just took my XD45 and my new sub compact XD40 to the range. Damn 40 cal can shoot. Im hitting the 10 ring at approx 35 yards. Not bad for a 3 inch barrel. My 10 ring is about 1/2 dollar size. 45 was dead accurate as usual.

    Nice buy...you'll love it.

I have been rocking a Service XD40 for about 7 years now. Accurate and reliable and trouble free.

Some love to poo poo these pistols, but as the owner of this XD40 and two Glocks...man...I see little difference in performance in the two designs.

Well I bought a blackhawk serpa belt/paddle for it last night and after I drew a few times I'm like it. Not what I went their for but it will fit my gun belt and all my other belts so if I don't want to wear the gun belt all I have to do is take it off and put it on another belt. I'll need to get a jacket slot holster for it latter but this will work for now.

I've been looking for the back (the belt loop) for the duty belt but I guess they don't make just the back as an accessories as all I can find is the belt loop and paddle attachments.

I am spreading the gospel of the XD45 at work.
Two guys who carry Glock and Sig fired my XD 45 Tactical a month back at the range and they fell in love. One guy has his new XD45 T replacing his G21 as we speak. The other guy is working to get the funds to get one.

    Range report!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went to Eagle Peak finally I was trying to go to the range with one of my uncles to use the range that their PD uses but it has been in accessible because of the rain, so I finally decided I couldn't wait anymore. So I set my targets up on the 15 yard line and started out with 13 rounds of Hydra Shocks, they fed great and I hit the Birchwood casey with most of them. Then I loaded up one of the 10 rounders with the 180 gr cci lawman ammo I picked up the week before. They did great. I shot one handed two handed and one handed with my support (left) hand, I hit the paper! LOL. I shot with my new flash light in my hand in shooting position. I was almost constantly shooting high and left so to diagnose the problem I dry fired a few times and sure enough I was jumping anticipating the recoil. :banghead::banghead: Why am I doing this I asked myself, I never could get a final answer from my self either. Go figure. So I loaded up again and went as slow and steady as I could. I got moe hits! So I concluded that the gun would hit whatever I pointed it at and me flinching is the only thing that threw the shots off. Great gun I love it, I'll give it two thumbs up!
