    Awesome. I had one in a takedown version - circa 1920.

    Great gun. Excellent caliber. I prefer the .300 in that particular rifle.

    Thanks fellas. I have another one, a 99F in.308 that's really the bomb. I'm shooting pointy boolits only in this guy. PAX

    Thanks again hombres. During my weekly perusing of my LGS circuit, I stumbled across one in the used rack. It was pretty rough with a couple dings on both sides of the receiver, almost in the white, but it had a 24" barrel and was it in .30-30, which I knew was a little scarse. So it got me thinking: "Maybe I can find a good one". You know how it goes when you're a C&R junkie. My 99F is totally boss. PAX
