I just got my7.62x54 ammo today and it was in zinc coated tins soldered
closed. When I opened them I found the ammo looked like it just was
made, clean and nice considering It was packed in the 50's.
So tomorrow or wednesday I get to try out my M44 mosin for the first time.:D
I got it from AIM 2 tins at 39.95 ea. = 500rds Bulgarian brass cased.

Hey,If you pull on the rear of your bolt there is a safety on the M44.Pull the rear back and turn it left to put it on safety.A lot of people are not told about the safety on this rifle.

The M44 was designed to be fired with the bayonet extended. If you do not, your shots will hit to the left. Adjust your front sight ot compensate with the bayonet folded.
