    Call my cynical (no, really: I take it as a compliment) but I'm thinking this article is using training material for one specific situation and misapplying it. It sounds like this is for active shooter situations, which is something that I'd expect they're giving to cubicle monkeys instead of the people who actually walk around with a gun on their hip.

    Active shooter is usually used for someone walking into a school, shopping mall or office building and going on a spree. For people who work in an office all day (especially in a no-guns per federal law environment), run-hide-fight is pretty standard stuff. That's what makes me think this is a lot of nothing...

    Call local cops? Local cops are the ones whining about having to enforce federal laws...

    In most cases they legally can't enforce federal laws.
