Congress needs to hear from you

On Wednesday, the House voted on new legislation providing for all states to recognize your constitutional right to concealed carry.

But this bill also included a pernicious gun control provision that will result in more decent Americans being denied the right to buy firearms — even affecting those with unpaid traffic tickets.

There is a Constitutional Carry reciprocity bill in the Senate right now that does not contain any gun control — and that’s S. 446. It does not contain the Traffic Ticket Gun Ban which was passed by the House.

How does that increase the officers risk vs the current situation?

And usually for good reason. One side or the other is usually telling “half truths”, conveniently leaving out or not disclosing facts about a given situation that can completely change ones opinion or decision making process. And when caught: “Oh, I forgot about that!”
    Like hell you did...

“What do you mean, ‘wiped clean’?... you mean.... like with a cloth?”

President Reagan (Azz Clown) signed the FOPA Hughes Amendment in 1986 banning new NFA MGs. So as long as the US Congress doesn’t do anything more with the NFA stuff (I have several) then I am fairly happy. Hopefully this new NICS law they are talking about won’t involve NFA items. I am a die hard Republican but what Reagan signed on the Hughes Amendment was treasonous.

    Texas, ya'll
There was plenty of blame to go around on that one. Just another case of legislators voting for something without reading it in detail.

And which seems to be SOP rather than an exception.

NFA needs to go away. When that happens I might start to believe the gov has some support for the 2A.
