I fully realize that you’re gonna find this hard to believe coming from a Texas police officer, but I 100% agree with you! I have NEVER arrested any person my 24 years as an officer for simply having or possessing or baring a gun. I have for DOING something illegal with it, but never simply for having it. I abide by the 2nd amendment even on the job.

I hope my state (MI) passes the Permitless Carry. Constitutional Carry is the best we can have anyways.

Constitutional Carry is what I’d like to see for Texas too!

Ya know, if the anti-gun crazies support the bill, it can't be good for us

No need for a LTC or any non resident permit in Texas (and many other states) to Carry a firearm in a privately owned vehicle Mr. Fife

Does anyone know of a site/article where someone has read through the combined bill and given a thorough synopsis? All I keep seeing is just a big general summary, but I believe the devil's in the details on this. Thanks.

The stuff with NICS kills it for me. Also I dont think theres any way these commie states are going to allow their peasants to circumvent their unconstitutional gun laws. They wont go down without a fight

    Texas, ya'll
They should have put provisions for 10 times the lawyer fees for punitive damages if they harass a person and he has to defend himself. Awh, 'ell, let's make it 100 times...
