That just shows the person writing the article doesn't know anything about the subject. The Sig's are .223, not .22LR.
I would have fired him for getting semi-autos and not select-fire versions.
Another example showing the gun knowledge of your basic, liberal tinged reporter and writer.
Don't know squat about guns, but like to use words that have no meaning, like "assault weapon."
For most civilian purchases, it would better fit 'home defense weapon'. For those that like to shoot paper, maybe 'range rifle' or 'target gun'. However, the media likes to hype things up.
Last night an airplane had to return to the airport because of 'a hydraulic problem'. They forgot to mention that there are backup systems and proceeded to tell us that they would keep us updated. They made it sound like the plane would be crash landing at any moment. Media scum.
