We are trying to hire a few new employees. http://www.mensor.com/

    1. A entry-level production technician. Need somebody to assemble & test high precision pressure measuring and controlling instruments.

    2. An experienced electrical engineer. Would primarily be involved in designing high accuracy, low voltage, high stability analog circuits mated with digital interfaces (I^2C, CAN, RS-232/485, Modbus, HART etc.) Need to be able to develop portable embedded firmware. Possibilities of designing/helping design ASICs etc.

    3. Sales engineer. Would be able to determine customer needs, company capabilities & merge them to develop OEM type accounts. This would typically not be COTS type products but would be spin-offs of the company's core competencies. Precision instrumentation background would be helpful.

There is more information in a few threads down in this section about us needing a metrologist.

Shoot me a PM if you are someone you know might be interested. I've got some half-done job descriptions I can forward. We've got authorization to hire immediately, but we want the right fit and can wait a few months if we need to. I'm largely in charge for the last two positions.

    Hi Robert!

I got a big grin from job listings! Boy, are these right up my alley!

My first thought was "OPPORTUNITY!" The second thought: I'll be 70 yo this weekend! It came about two decades late......snicker.

    Good luck with your search!

Need another person for our customer service department. Basically troubleshooting our electromechanical devices. Need a basic understanding of electronics. Won't have to deal with customers much, just fix their instruments.
