In the next week or two I'm going to be building an AR upper and I'm wondering if anyone in the Austin area wouldn't mind renting their workbench out to me. I have a shared (roommate) living arrangement currently and I do have a small clamp-on vice but it's not the ideal tool to use when torquing on a barrel nut. I have a vice block and all the tools I need. I just lack a sturdy bench and heavy-duty vice.

I'm happy to pay a reasonable fee and the whole process will likely be less than an hour. I do need to knock out the taper pins on the FSB to install a forearm that has a sight-post cutout. Once the barrel is on the receiver, the nut torqued and the forearm is threaded on, I just knock the taper pins back in and I'm done. I have done this before so there isn't going to be any "trial and error" or "lemme figure out how to do this".

    Thanks,
    ~Craig~
