I'm looking to have some work done on either a Marlin 1894 or Winchester 1892. I want to have the barrel cut, threaded, front sight moved, and magazine cut down to match the new barrel length. I'm not going to be taking shots out to 1000 yards with either of these so I don't need mega-precision-rifle guys for this (not saying I wouldn't have them do it but most of them seem to have a 24 month back log and I don't need precision long range competition quality work for this plinker) but I obviously want someone experienced and competent to do this, not a "I have a dremel with a cutoff wheel and a tap and die set" kind of operation. Need someone with enough know-how to figure out how to shorten a tube mag appropriately and not have a permanently canted front sight when this is all done. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Blackjack for me too. I have used them for years and always a good experience. Getting ready to take some more work there soon.
