My FIL gave this to me 10 years ago
He got it at a gun show in AZ in the 90s

I don't know alot about any shotguns especially older ones

I had an expert look it over when I 1st got it and he said the gun was in good condition and I could even shoot it..just use steel shot.

He said the stock wasn't correct to the gun and that detracted from the value
He said I could remove the finish with some steel wool and oil finish it to give it better appearance

I'm wanting to sell it..but 1st I need to know what I have and what to expect.

    Any advice would be appreciated.
The SN is visible in the one picture in case any of you can look it up

Which thread are you keeping, lol?

Check with "Blue Book of Guns".

    I have a 1911 L.C. Smith "Monogram" in 20 ga.
Blue book told me the 20ga is worth double what the same in 12ga is.
    Only 51 were made .

Same as the other thread, you can get a research letter from the LC Smith Collector’s Association.

I have a research letter for mine.

I personally would not use steel shot in that shotgun...

Shoot it? Yes, I would with lead shot...

    Does it have interchangeable chokes?
