    Somewhere in Texas!
Pictures would help. I think the one I purchased was about $650, with all matching numbers and about 80% original blueing. Slicker than snot and accurate also.

Man this one is all matching numbers and in great condition. My wife's grandfather bought it brand new way back when and has just kept it under the bed and it is very accurate. Also behind the hammer where it screws into the stock is it supposed to be missing a screw there. I seen some that have like a peep sight that goes there?

If you are worried about missing screws,,,Brownells sells a spare screw set for the 1890/1906. You can also get a screw for the tang sight.

Since your asking for a value and talking it up, should we be expecting to see said 1906 in the Classifieds section shortly?

    Out here by the lake!
No I can't sell this rifle. It is just too cool of a rifle to let go and is the perfect rifle to teach my daughter how to shoot and proper gun safety. She has already shot a soda can at 20 yards all by herself and she is 5.
Good on you for teach your daughter on a gun with family history.
