Found this in a gunbroker ad. I've never seen one of these in person. Is this a legitimate rifle or just a junky show off piece? Right off the bat the scope is mounted to the receiver and the barrel screws on. How rigid of an alignment could that barrel keep with that scope?

hah! yeah the scope not being on the barrel could be problematic, but i dont see how you could mount it there and have it be useful, without some serious mounting hardware.

maybe using a pistol scope with super long eye relief - but im not sure how powerful that would be.

looks sweet though! im with WT on that one!

If the rest of his auctions are any indication, it is a good weapon that is marked up maybe 20% over retail. I was looking at his sabre defense competition deluxe listed for $2,600 that is usually found on gunbroker for around $2,000.

I second the motion for the .50gi being awesome. Check out this solid copper round that opens up over 1", looks like a mechanical broadhead on an arrow, and still penetrates 9"...

Realistically, you would have to zero it everytime you put it back together. When you're talking sub-MOA rifles, there are way too many things that will affect the harmonics to disassemble and reassemble without loss of zero.

i read up a couple reviews and videos and even some history on the weapon system. first off every review said it was extremely accurate even after break down and reassemble. one review called it a hyper accurate weapon lol. the basic design is what the cheytac intervention incorporates if that means anything to yall. also the prices for these things are everywhere from 3,600-6000 bucks on various sites selling them.
im sure various studies went into keeping the rifle zero'd after reassembly so i wouldn't judge it by the scope being mounted to the separate receiver.

Made me curious, found a assembly and fire test. Interesting weapon.
