Probably not but when we lived on Kentucky Lake beside a road that now just ran into the lake some folks came out to the road ending and turned their boxer loose. My wife's Siamese Cat sauntered down there and put the boxer under the car then jumped up on the car to watch for him to try and sneak out. He didn't.https://www.foxnews.com/lifestyle/hero-dog-rescues-owner-knife-mugger

My dogs would kill any cat that wandered into the yard.Probably not but when we lived on Kentucky Lake beside a road that now just ran into the lake some folks came out to the road ending and turned their boxer loose. A lot of dogs tried ol' Tom. He would let them get close and then latch onto their muzzles and faces. He lived to a ripe old age. BTW I don't think Siamese are really cats in the normal sense of the word. They can be very cunning and mean.My dogs would kill any cat that wandered into the yard.
Some dogs don't handle cats well, though. The dogs that take care of cats hit the cat a full run, not giving the cat the chance to put their claws to use.
We had a Burmese Tom that was the same way......he actually enjoyed tormenting dogs.A lot of dogs tried ol' Tom. He would let them get close and then latch onto their muzzles and faces.
