I remember getting emails about that one 20 years ago.

One of the benefits of picking up a starved American Bulldog off the side of the road a couple years ago is that he ended up bein' an excellent coworker. He comes to work with me every day and he doesn't care for anyone getting too close to his truck or Jeep. He's got a mouth that can pop a regulation basketball with one bite. Don't have many window washers or panhandlers come up to the truck since he started riding with me.

They will also follow you to your room, drug you and steal your kidneys. They pack you in ice and leave a note to get to a hospital right away.........................:weights:

It's always good to be reminded of dangers that have happened in the past. They might not do such things anymore, but you never know if someone nutjob might be willing to try.

No, the hypodermic needle they implanted on the gas pump handle was loaded with a sedative instead of HIV...:jackbox:

I thought they were hiding the needles in the coin return slot of pay phones?

OK, so maybe not all of these urban legends stand up to the test of time. I'll change mine to needles in the Halloween candy.

If someone starts following you and you pull over, stationary target. If you continue on the road how have you left the scene of an accident?

Also watch out for the bump...rob and run.

Criminals count on their victims to do the civilized thing and pull over and exchange insurance and wait for the cops when we get rear ended. They have other plans.

Yea, that one has been out. The best you can do is pull over, lock your doors, call the cops, and watch your surroundings with your gun near by.

I would suggest that pulling over and locking your doors makes you a stationary target. Continuing on the road keeping at posted speed or less would be a better option.

If you're wrong, you just left the scene of an accident. If you're sitting there and see someone get crazy, you can always tear outta there.

Thats tricky. Got to decide whats right given the situation. Im not stopping in some hoods if i get hit from behind.

I think that if you just truly felt it was a dangerous area, you could call 911 to report the accident, and then let them know you're going to a safer area.
