New deer stand placement

I’ve Been eyeballing these fields for two years and thought why not?
I placed a ladder stand here yesterday and I love it. First evening in I saw three does a small basket buck and a beautiful red Fox. I think this will pay big in later weeks or Black powder season.

That pond is about 25x50 yards and it’s a raised pond. I can view about 75-100 acres from
This stand but limited to shooting about 60 percent of that with a center fire rifle.

Basket buck is a small spread rack and tines come close together. Not a TX term.
