I have mild tremors in 1 hand. It varies throughout the day, and it is a pain in the butt. I have some nerve damage in my left arm from a childhood injury, and the tremors are in that hand. I saw a neurologist a few years ago to see if it was something serious - he didn't think it was. Some days are worse than others. On top of that, I take asthma medicine.

I have noticed that I generally have less shakes if I shoot during the evening. But, I can sympathize. I've gotten to be a much better shooter in the past 10 years, but the tremors are worse. So, it is annoying that I can't shoot as well as I want to. I'm still typically one of the better shooters on the range when I go, but it's still never as well as I want to be.

If its worse after you take the pill, maybe try taking it at night so it has the day to get into your system. Then by the afternoon maybe its level will be low in your system.

No, BP meds should be taken in the morning, preferably right when you get up. (unless your doctor or pharmacist tells you otherwise).

Give the medication a good try. If the side effects aren't working for your, there are lots of BP meds out there, but you should give them try. It might go away. There are expensive medications, and there very inexpensive medications.

Funny thing, beta blockers treat some kinds of tremors.
