If you'd like to, you are more than welcome to shoot my Sig p220, it's a .45. It does kick a pretty decent amount. 9mm is generally quite a bit more comfortable to shoot, and for self defense there is plenty of modern quality ammunition that makes it perfectly sufficient for that purpose too. Actually, you are more than welcome to shoot my P220 9mm as well, if you'd like to compare the two calibers. I'll say this much, the 9mm P220 is more enjoyable to shoot.

Welcome. I'm in South Austin as well - off Slaughter lane. Nice set-up with the AR. I'm just so skittish about putting pics up with Hussein's regime looming on Jan. 23. Happy Veteran's Day Eve. I wonder if we get to observe BHO not put his hand over his heart tomorrow during the national anthem. I guess my 11 years of service don't mean a damn thing to him. Well at least I won't forget the men who've died who gave that right to me...sorry for the rant, just tears me up inside

Also, most of Blade Tech's holsters are available in two different types of green:

Both PMAGS and Blade Tech's holsters are good quality stuff, so those are probably your best bet.

i used to live off Slaughter and Curlew. and my buddy that used to work at Larue lives there still

The Serpa for the Beretta 92f also comes in green, though I wasn't able to find it in green for any other model.
