That is the hope. Anything I need to know about the site? Any do's and don'ts?Welcome. Thanks for the introduction. You will like it here.
Have a thick skin. Most of the guys on here are assholes and dickheads, but they're decent people anyway. I'm not one of those types, I'm just a harmless old fart. Welcome to the forum. That is the hope. Anything I need to know about the site? Any do's and don'ts?

Sounds good to me. I look forward to arguing with every single one of you lol.Mostly great people here, with a few arseholes mixed in. You will figure it out soon enough.
Yeah when I said I looked forward to arguing with you all, it was meant as a joke.I don't see much arguing but different opinions expressed at times. I'd say most are all on the same page but can disagree over Ford vs Chevy, Coke vs Pepsi, chocolate vs vanilla, lol. I'd say each member can punch his or her own ticket and hold their own. While a different opinion is usually welcomed, disrespect and nastiness is not. Poking fun is okay and most grownups know the difference. The members are a long ways from being snowflakes searching for the right pronoun for themselves but respect is expected. I know I made several assumptions here but going by what I've observed.
Welcome aboard, I always heard east Texas is God's country but I never knew where the line from the west is drawn to distinguish it. If it includes east Dallas, I'm in...
That would be pretty cool, but being that I'm new and don't know the deceased, I would feel out of place coming to his memorial. I wouldn't want to be disrespectful. For me it would be a meet and greet, but for some it would be a time of remeberance. Wouldn't feel right. Thank you though.Howdy from East TX as well. Being new you could have a chance to meet some of us. Check out these threads for more info

EZ-E has a 150+ yd range with 3 wide capabilities. Mine is 600+ with 2 wide capabilities. Pick...www.texasguntalk.com
Welcome to TGT. I would give some consideration to going to the meet. It would allow you to get to know some of the members in person, and something that is very much encouraged here at TGT. BTW, @EZ-E and I are outside of Palestine. What part of East Texas are you in?That would be pretty cool, but being that I'm new and don't know the deceased, I would feel out of place coming to his memorial. What he said.Welcome.
If you really want to meet us and see who we are and what we are all about, by all means, go to the memorial meet. You don't have to have met the man, most here have never met him in person, too offer condolences to friends and family. It will give you an appreciation for the type of man we respect.
