Been lurking around a bit getting a feel for this forum, seems a good time for an introduction.
Native Texan just returned to Texas from chasing work around the country the last 10 years, most recently northern Colorado. Grew up hunting all over Texas, ex-Navy, (self-proclaimed) bar-b-que cook and jack-of-all-trades. Damn glad to be back!
Looking forward to properly introducing my grandchildren to firearms now that I'm back and maybe meeting a few like-minded folk to share a brisket.
I do have a question; I've been searching around for the answer and haven't been able to come up with anything definitive. How long do I have to get my Texas CHL before my Colorado CHL won't keep me out of trouble? I'm afraid I know the answer is "stop carrying until then" but I'm hoping there's some grace period. Should probably start a thread in the right sub-forum and I'll do that if folks would rather respond there.
