any of y'all ever had a loose fitting barrel/upper combo?

I'm using a Faxon 9mm barrel and a Spikes pistol upper. Never had a combo that hasn't fit snug before.

I can insert the chamber end into the upper and wiggle the muzzle around.

Could be tolerance stacking, or an out of spec upper or barrel extention.

If you have a spare of either (upper or bbl), might be good to check to see which one is off.

I've had barrels (bbl extensions) that slipped right in to the receiver, and others that needed a touch of hammer and/or heat gun, but anything as loose as described in the OP would have been either paired with a better-fitting receiver/bbl (e.g. work around the tolerance stacking) or sent back for replacement.

Assuming it headspaces properly (if you don't already have gauges - buy some; what's ~$100 or less compared to your life/health), I don't think there's any way to say for sure if it'll walk or not until you torque it down and try stretching the legs a bit... (but personally, I wouldn't go forward with it that loose unless I had to)
