I really shouldn't bash Taurus, I am sure that there are some good ones. I have owned 2 new ones and had problems with both of them. It appears to me that there is no QC at the Taurus factory. There is no way that my 2nd one should have left the factory in the condition that I received it. The timing was WAY off. The lockup was loose. And the bore was so rough that it looked like the rifling was cut with a hammer and chisel. After 2 trips back to the factory it was fixed.
