    Interesting. Thanks for the learnin'.

    Do all red dot and holographic sights with coated lenses have that "off" hue to them? I understand the camera and lighting, etc. could unintentionally altar the picture, just seems to me that that could wear on a persons nerves a bit.

    That blue/green tint? No. The older PA dots ive seen dont have it in any meaningful way nor do Aimpoints.

    They may not be crystal clear but ive never noticed any tint.

    The Bushnell TRS 25 has the noticeable tint.

    I think it's due to it being a cheaper coating maybe.

    Mine has a visible coating but not noticeable looking through it. Almost every quality optic has some type of anti glare coating but usually can't be seen when looking through it.
