RENEWALS

We live out-of-state, have had our Texas carry permits for decades, and must renew again.

The information we get from DPS seems contradictory. In the past, I've furnished them multiple sets of fingerprints. I once even had to go back to Texas to have prints re-done there.

The website and by telephone, they tell us that we must submit prints again. But the little form says no.

Could someone here please elucidate for us? Proper answer would be greatly appreciated.

I understand, but the info we are getting keeps being contradictory.

We have had the licenses for many years and are just needing to renew, but when we call DPS they tell us different things every call.

It there is an active instructor in the Orange-Beaumont area, I's surely like to speak with him/her.

We are only about 2 hours from Beaumont, and will go there if necessary.
