So let me me clear this up. As of Sept 1,2009 If you get pulled over by a police officer, You're no longer required to show him/her your CHL? And welcom to the forum Apatriot!

As I read it you are still required by law to show the CHL but now DPS does not have the authority to suspend your CHL for not doing so
HB 2730 removes DPS authority to suspend a concealed handgun license (CHL) for the holder’s failure to display the CHL to a peace officer on demand. It removes associated penalties and suspensions for the failure to display .
then what does
"failure to display the CHL to a peace officer on demand" ...
to me sound like you don't have to if you don't want to.
You may want to research this...
