New to Fort Worth

Hello all, just moved here from OKC. I have two questions. 1. Where is a good place to shoot rifles in Fort Worth. 2. Are there any good places near Fort Worth to do some Off Road driving(4X4).

Ranges... Alpine in south FW. Tac Pro, but that's a about 60 miles. Then there is the infamous Quail Creek which I dislike, and will probably never go to again, unless maybe if I could go during the week when it's not crowded. There are some over in Dallas county too. I'd say start with Alpine.

Off roading... can't help you much, but I do see a lot of that activity going on at some state land just north or Roanoke off of hwy 377 (Denton Hwy) I believe that property snakes around to the north end of Lake Grapevine.

I used to ride dirt bikes and there are not many public places to ride near the DFW area. Especially for 4x4 vehicles. You typically have to head up towards the Red River. This site may help you --- Reviews for Rocky Ridge Ranch - Decatur, TX
