New to Houston (and CHL)

Hi All,

Moved here from IL where you can own a handgun (FOID card) but no CHL option.
Now, with my CHL card in TX, I like to take one along on camping trips etc (got little girls + one bigger one to protect) - ;-)
Already posted a question about options in one forum but have to qualify first b4 listing for sale.

Could anyone recommend decent USED - FOR SALE sites/places in Houston to me.

Tomball Pawn generaly has some good deals on new and used guns.
Ten Ring on Jones rd . are good folks to do business with.

I'd agree. Watch the Carter Country Ads, sometime they have some good deals. Academy is good for inexpensive weapons. Pawn shops in Houston are good only if you know the value of the weapon before you go in.

Howdy from Katy. Pawn shops will both buy and sell in the Houston area you will not get a good price for your sale though. you are better selling on this board. Most pawnshops will haggle on the sale price don't pay what the tag says. Be careful some pawnshop pricing is higher than area shop prices for new.
