I got this one from a friend last week.he had it built as his match rifle.douglas match barrel,NM sights & op rod.it is a cmp rifle rec dates to 1954.

That's pretty sweet. .308 too! Mine isn't all jazzed up like yours, just an old .30-06, but was born Aug, 1955 and would be considered "collector grade" by the CMP.

thanks guys.I haven't shot it yet so a range report soon.I sold off all my other M-1's so I think I am going to keep this one .
