    Welcome Genosse,

Texas is a great place, and I've met a few Russians who've moved out here as well, along with Ukrainians, Kazacks, Georgians, and people from other former Soviet Republics. I wish you best of luck on your green card lottery, and your future move to America.

BTW Russia is a pretty damn cool country itself, I personally love Russian authors like Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Gogol, and Pushkin. Siberia has to be an awesome place to hunt in, except probably summer in the marshes.

Don't forget Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. ;) An excellent writer/philosopher as well.

Genosse, I wish you the best of luck with your green card. If you make it to the states and happen to make it to Austin, I'll buy you a beer, or vodka, or whatever you'd prefer.

    Welcome Genosse,

Yes, come to Texas and live here with us. Bring your family too. I went to school with a fellow from the Ukraine about 12 years ago. He and I drove from Houston to Orange to have Thanksgiving dinner with a friend. The next morning we played a round of golf and went back to mud school in Houston. Fun trip. Funny guy.

    Thanks guys!
About vodka. I don't drink a vodka. Beer only :))))

If all wil be fine I'll come with my wife and son :)

    Between Tomball & Waller
It wasn't the people or the Russian culture it was the communist
socialist party and it leaders we had a problem with. Its just a shame the
your average Russian got stuck in that restrictive life of no freedoms.
Hope you can get here soon as we are pulling for you.

It is not so simple. Russian citizens can not get a green card, because more 100'000 russians arrived in USA for last five years.
I could arrive in USA if I had near relation in USA, but I have not.
I have a couple friends in Wisconsin. One of them is a cop. His name Andy and he live in Silver Lake :)

I have a international passport with closed USA visa without breach of crossing of the frontier.
Of course I can get non-immigration visa. But I want remain in Texas for all live...

    Welcome!

If you have a visa and are able to "Visit" the United States come over. Spend some time here, find yourself a nice Texan girl and marry her.

Then you get your green card.

Сегодня в Хьюстоне это были 24 градуса Цельсия.

Today in Houston it was about 24 degrees Celsius.

    Теперь идет дождь.
