most former brit countries have subjects instead of citizens

^Truth ... lived and worked, not just visited, in NZ, AUS, and the UK.

Of the above, the Aussies were the one's I least expected to kiss govt ass like they have.

Again and again it comes down to the heavily crowded rats in urban areas wielding undue influence under "democratic" governments.

Those who live closer to the land and nature are less susceptible to being manipulated; those who live an artificial existence, fall like dominoes.

Long live our Constitutional Republic ...

Most of the Aussie gun owners have defied the government and have kept their firearms.

The Mexican constitution of 1917 does grant the right to possess firearms but.............

I think it pretty much dwindled down to politicians finding new laws to circumvent that.(kinda like here?)

"WELLINGTON (Reuters) - New Zealand’s ambitious firearm amnesty ends on Friday with questions over its success, as critics say the police only managed to collect about a third of the weapons that were outlawed after the Christchurch massacre."

So now the PM is . . .

"Ardern is pushing a new set of gun reforms through parliament which includes the creation of a registry to monitor every firearm legally held in New Zealand."

Because more laws for the law abiding always prevents crimes.

They are well down the slippery slope.

    A third?

How can you believe that measurement ?

Lying bastards....probably didn't get the number of guns they claim either.......probably more like 25 to 30 total.

50k guns does not sound like 1/3 if I remember correctly the total numbers originally stated.

Lot of civil disobedience going on there. Will be interested to see if the government tries for confiscation.

Lots of places in New Zealand to hide guns.
