    How goes it?

My name's Lee; I'm a service advisor for a local BMW repair shop, former restauranteur and a fairly new gun owner. I picked up my first handgun back in November (Taurus PT111 Pro), then traded it in for a Taurus PT1911 in December. I now have the PT1911, a Sig P220 Combat that I bought a couple weeks ago and a Smith & Wesson 22A that I got this past weekend.

Crappy cell phone pics of my small collection, sans S&W:

Welcome aboard! Nice Sig, I love the P220!

Thanks. I picked it up a couple weeks ago at Cabela's and didn't get a chance to shoot it until this past Saturday. I put about 150 through it and couldn't be happier with it. Well worth the price I paid and sighted dead-on from the factory.

I have to admit that the three dot sights on the Sig are taking some getting used to since both of my previous handguns had the Heine Straight-8s.

    Dev,

HOWDY and welcome! Glad you joined up.

    nice pieces! guns + car!

(don't worry--you'll have a safe-full of guns in short order!)

Thanks for the compliments. The car's a little worn out, honestly. 93 BMW 525i Touring (wagon) with ~248500 miles; I should hit a quarter of a million within the month. I already have an engine swap ready to go from a '95 M3 donor car. I'm currently hunting for a 5-speed to drop in it, too.

Once I get the S50 in there, I can start tearing down the OEM M50 block for a snail.
