Here's my Kel-Tec PLR-16 pistol I turned into a SBR last year with a few of the options I have for it.

Thanks. I already owned a PLR and all the parts I needed for my SBR project were available directly from Kel-Tec since the PLR-16 is really just a SU-16 rifle with a short barrel and no butt stock. Everything I needed to turn the pistol into a rifle was directly available from K-T for the SU-16 as a part or accessory so there was no need for fitting or mods. This is it using a SU-16 folding stock and different optic. All the other stuff like optics, rail mounted accessories, suppressors, magazines, etc are AR-15/M-4 compatable.

Cool...I wanted to build something like that the first time I picked up the carbine version :)

Meanwhile, I need a cheaper hobby. Modular "parts" are expensive

Well, I can't legally show you what it all looks like since I don't have approvals back yet, but imagine this barrel:

Along with a Silencerco Osprey .45 to screw on the end of it or my USP Compact Tactical .45 :)

Is it my imagination or is owning an AR just as addictive (if not more so) than a Ruger 10/22. It seems as if people aren't satisfied with only one AR in their stable - I mean, really, how many do you need?... they're all the same in the end .
