Did anyone watch the Top Fuel Harleys at the NHRA Fall Nationals this past weekend? It's been years since I was involved in motorcycle racing but WOW. My son was there and the winner of the T/F Harley class ran a 6.22 @ 229 MPH. ON THE BACK TIRE, the front tire didn't come down until he popped the chute (you heard that right, parachute) as he crossed the finish line. Pro Stock Mtc has come a ways also. If you didn't run it the 6's you didn't qualify. 6.7's to win at over 200. They have come a long way..... I guess the T-shirt I had was correct,

Scratch the No Chute. Still wondering about that. We discussed it years ago but passed on the idea. Something about chute hooked to bike and you keep going, to rider and the bike keeps going. I guess a small chute like they are using on the wheelie bar is OK????
